Just reread my post and need to clarify that I am looking for rubber type mats to protect the carpet mats that come with the car. Perhaps the dealer has those too? Thanks, D

My dealer mentioned that heavy duty floor mats would be delayed until December, along with the illuminated kick plates. I've been to every auto parts store in the area and none of the mats there fit in my G. There are websites that sell customized mats for a ton of cars, but none yet for the G37. I'm wondering if G35 mats will fit just as well. If that's the case, I'd be happy getting those instead. Has anyone tried this yet?

These were the only concessions I got my dealer to throw in as part of the deal....although they weren't available when I picked up my car, I did get the winter mats from my dealer that are specific to my G37 with the manual transmission (as they are different from the auto).

I kept the mats out of my 03 G35 coupe when I traded. The mats are not an exact fit, the passenger mat does not have an anchor ring. On the plus side the fit reasonably well, have the Infiniti logo, and preserve the originals against the day I sell or trade the G37.

Ive been looking as well for good all weather mats. I googled auto floor mats and came up with a bunch of sites having them. There are if not most have them to fit the G37.

There were several choices I saw from "Floyd". Some with cups and hexs built in to capture dirt and water. They seem nice but may be tricky to clean with all the cups. They also come in different colors to match your interior. Weathertech has some nice ones but dont seem to have one for the 37 yet.

I have in the past got a heavy duty carpet runner and just traced the factory mat and cut out the shape it works pretty well to cover your original mats. Problem is it wont catch a wayward cup of soda!

Thanks all for the info. I picked up my car on Saturday and talked the dealer into throwing in the Infinity rubber mats as part of the deal. They are on order. Have not seen them in person, so . . . . not really sure what I am getting. I will let you know . . . thanks again . . .

PS Is this a cool car or What!

PSS Must tell you this story. We are having our driveway resurfaced and THOUGHT we had timed the driveway with the delivery of the car. NOT!!!!! The car arrived early. The driveway must cure for at least three more weeks. My neighbor has kindly offered to let me store the car in her garage until I can pull it in my garage. So, we had the car for one hour and had to put it away in her garage due to the concrete work. Bah! I forget what it looks like! I bought a beautiful car and have visiting rights! Sheesh!

I tried the winter mats from my G35 in my new G37 when I did the trade-in at the dealers - not a very good fit - especially the driver's mat. I left them with the G35 but I will buy winter mats for the G37 when available.

I just upgraded from a G35 so I can tell you there is no way the mats will fit. I couldn't use any of the four all weather mats for my G37. I guess I will have to put them on Ebay.

Here's an idea, just use the mats that came with the car. After your first year when summer comes around again if you want spotless mats, buy a new set at infiniti. Then use the old mats in the winter and your good mats in the summer.
