My stock exaust piping got a whole in it some how. And it rattles and sounds like ****. Im just going to get a whole new cat back system with a muffler. What is the best yet suttle. I dont want to sound like a leaf blower going down the street. I have a Greddy Evo 2 Exaust system on my accord what sounds very good. Deep suttle growl Not ricey. My Question is what exaust system would sound good on the 240. I dont want it to be loud or even to be a big *** can. Almost stock looking but where you can tell that it is a new muffler. Also with great flow.

ThanksBrandon

you could look into RSR, blitz, apex, hks, and BRM. All of those brand has some nice exhaust system.

Search dammit.

Exhaust choices have been discussed ad nauseum, there's probably 50 exhaust threads or more on NICO

Yes, BRM is a hand-made exhaust utilizing magnaflow mufflers/resonators.If you question the quality, then look at the pics and some sound clips people have posted in the BRM sticky.

Besides the BRM sticky, i counted 4 exhaust threads on the 1st page of this forum already.

Yup, you should look into BRM. I wouldnt really call it just a modified magnaflow. It's high quality mandrel bent piping with magnaflow muffler which BTW, sounds amazing (I have one on my car). Besides their price is very competitive and reasonable for the quality you get. Also, you support NICO in a way if you buy BRM

I'm sorry, but I personally would like to advise differently. Exhaust is essentially exhaust, few variables come in, such as exhaust velocity and exhaust diameter, and of course sound. Also, you have to realize exhaust is only going to give so much power, performance wise. I was able to get a full 2.5" custom bent exhaust, catless, with a magnaflow muffler for right at 330 dollars, installed and everything. If you can find a reputable local muffler shop, I'd go that route, not to mention its nice to make ties like this, especially when you start wanting IC piping and whatnot.

I'd get the 5Zigen Border III if I had the money. I was going to get it then the price of them went up $100 some bucks. I used to have a HKS carbon Ti but ut was to loud for me. Now I have a stock exhaust with a poor patch job (it acctually sounds good).

RSR-Ex Mag ... looks stock, sounds good, not loud, great flow, reasonably priced. Not full stainless steel though.

BRM (Magnaflow) sounds pretty loud to me from all the posted vids, even with resonator, but that would be next for me when looking for a quiet/stock looking exhaust that performs well.

You could always get some Greddy or Apexi system that comes with silencers but some people say they're still too loud and at the sacrifice of flow...

I actually got my 2.25 cat back at meineke for about the same price including the muffler. However they did crush bend the tubes.. and had I known about BRM back then.. I wouldnt have gone to my local shop. I would have gotten BRM's SS mandrel bent tubes and get a high quality exhaust for a bit more money.

Not alot of shops here seem to do mandrel bends

If you want it to look relatively stock, I'd recommend BRM. Their exhausts are very high quality and sound really good. I'm only going for the Apexi GT Spec cause I don't like the BRM tips.

My friend got a BRM for his s14, 2.5in with a 22in resonator single tip, it sounds so awesome. We actually ran it with just the half with the resonator and it was as quiet as the full exhaust, it was really cool. The sound is so awesome, hardly noticeable at idle, but when you open it up, it growls! My BRM sounds like balls compared to his cause i got a gutted cat with a dented flange thats making an exhaust leak.

i like the sound of the fujitsubo legalis r. not a fan of the sound of anything on a ka though too mushy for me.

apex gt is too manly for me the size of it is scary. probably rather get a ti exhaust though i like the sound of those.
