Did the fender roller also help you to "pull" the fenders, or did you use another method?sixxdeuce wrote:rent/borrow/buy the eastwood fender roller, it rolls and pulls fenders very nicely.
Eastwood put up some of my pics using it on their site:http://www.eastwood.com/text/c...r.htm
They're Enkei PK-6's. Pretty much same setup as you, just a size bigger. 18x8.5 +24 up front with 245/40/18 and 18x9.5 +25 with 275/35/18 in the rear. The rear tires rubbed on dips and bumps while still at stock height, so I just took the Louisville Slugger to itcyrus240sx wrote:on another note... what kinda wheels you got on your s14 spanishricer? from the pic all i can see is a lip and they look nice and fatModified by cyrus240sx at 11:00 PM 5/22/2005
When you say slice the paint, do you mean cut grooves into the inner lip that's rolled flat? Sorry, I'm just trying to get a mental image of the process since I'm definately going to have to pull my fenders before I can drop my car.sixxdeuce wrote:It was the only tool used to pull them, just apply heat to the fender, slice the paint on the underside and slowly work the metal out.
Yeah, it's the tires...they're mammothsixxdeuce wrote:yeah, you slice a groove in the paint on the part you cant normally see. Also, 9.5" width with +24 offset should tuck under compression with no issues, its probably those ginormous tires you have in back, or your camber is messed up.
