I just picked up a '93 convertible tonight!

It's white, but has a lot of grey primer spots were the prev. owner fixed dings.

I'm thinking of getting the car painted and have 2 questions.

1. What's the best paint color you've seen on a 240 convertible, or any 240

2. Is there anything I should put on the car before getting it painted. (ie Lip, etc.)

The top is brand new and black.

I don't know what it is, but my favorite color scheme (stock look) is white with the gray lower half, along with the silvia front end.Everyone has their own preference.

I would leave it white. Make it a pearl white. So clean.

Do any of you know if there's a decent shaker can that can paint a car for a temporary fix?

Congrats on the new vert.

Don't know why, but I love the grayish-purple color Nissan used for the S14. Don't know the paint code, but it was used for only 96 model year S14's I believe.

at this point I would use any white in a rattle can close enough to hide the primer gray

I think the Aztec red and the White were the best looking colors for the verts. Welcome to Nico by the way!

I would go ahead and either front end swap or get whatever kit you like for it before you go paint it. It makes no sense to pay to get it painted twice. Just go pick up some white paint from autozone. They used to have vehicle specific spray paint so you can color match.

240 verts only came with Red, Maroon, White and Black. I'd say silver, blue, green...etc. SOmething other than those 4 colors.
