As of late I have had the Burgundy Brownish Q45 on my mind. I saw one the other day drive by me and man I must say she looked good. Such a non aggressive color yet elegant in a way. I like my pearl white she really does sparkle but that BB color did stand out on the high way. I can't view images on my computer at work all the time, but would love to see on of these bad boys. I saw a 91 being sold on Craigslist for $700 with the chrome tail pipes and full wood grain, I would have purchased it at that price just for the pipe and grain alone.

While I like the look of the ivory quartz, To me the early {90-96} Q looks best in dark colors.....something about the reflection, depth, and shine of dark color paint really shows off the beautiful lines of the body better than the lighter colors.

I've owned 3 Q's. Black w/ Black, Black w/Taupe & IPQ (Ivory) w/ Tan. IMHO the best color combo is Silver with Black leather.

I bought a 90 for parts and, it is the burgundy color. (I have 10 acres which I can fill with old Qs, continuing to look for my color scheme.) My running Q is pearl over tan, which I greatly admire. THBS, that burgundy one started growing on me! It just seemed to have more presence! I was amazed at how well the OEM paint had held up, it just seemed deep. The seats were unmarked, again amazing for a vehicle of these years and miles! Alas, it would probably take at least $10K to get it road worthy! Not really cost effective, but...............who knows!

Back in the day I sat in a Blue Lapis Pearl 93 with a white interior-it was awesome. Everything was white inside (Tom Wolfe would have loved it).

That white interior made the inside look huge. But as nice as that was...I still love my 96 Black/black, it has a wood kit that makes Jason's look like Pepboys. It came from moneyland... Greenwich CT.

It's the Queen of raw sex!

Without a doubt the Black interior's look much less dated and hold up better. I smile nearly every time I sit in my SC thanks to the Black interior ... then I start it up adn grin even more .

Yup!

My favorite is the Mulberry over Taupe. Second favorite is Pearl over Tan.

Study leather dye chemistry: Black, blue, gray dark colors hold up best to UV and heat and body sweat and funk.

Before purchasing the one I currently own. I looked at the exact model year, but it was silver and black, sweet combo. I saw one yesterday as well.

I am partial to the really dark colors like the greens/tan or black/tan, just doesn't sit right with me. I did see a two tone which was nice. The burgundy brownish one, looked really good clean. It did carry a nice candy depth to it.

I am really happy with my color combo. Pearl White with Peanut Butter guts...LOL .

About those dark colors, its just to me doesn't make the design of the car pop, if you get what I mean by that. I saw one in a parking lot and even a female I was with said she liked my cars color better.

The down side to my color, dirty in two days of washing it. Thats why I polished her, so cleaning would be easier. Now that fall/winter is coming I may clay bar and polish again just to further protect he tone.
