I'm an older guy having tons of fun with this young car of mine. I'd appreciate it if the experts with experience on the forum could chime in with their recommendations for the best cold-air induction kit for my 2010 3.5 CVT (along with the reasons). Based on responses to another post the other day, I'm also considering installing a RacingLine Y-pipe and Nismo cat-back exhaust. (By the way, on the Nissan warranty issue, my dealer said that the Nissan warranty would be voided only with respect to the non-authorized parts and stuff related to those non-authorized parts.) Thanks!

lol @ non authorized parts = Almost Everything!

The only thing would be the Nismo which I understand is actually covered under your warranty since it's a Nissan part. But he's full of crap with the other claims. They would have to prove "said part" caused other part to fail. You just need to know how to talk to them. I'm sure others could fill you in more on warranty particulars.

As for the CAI, AEM is the closest thing to a Cold Air system and it's the most expensive. But it's worth it, easy install.

Thanks -- do you have a link or more complete description of the AEM cold air parts?

Cancel that last request -- found the info on the web. I see some folks installed the Injen unit. How do Injen and AEM compare?

I have the K&N and I'm very satisfied with it.

I think the benefit of the AEM and K&N intakes is that they attach to the stock front air duct, something that other brands don't have. I'm sure it's not a huge performance difference, but i think it's more aesthetically pleasing (unless you're planning to remove the front air duct anyways)

I also have K&N, pleased with it as well. The AEM looks WAY better because it has that big fat tube coming from the grill air duct, but I really dont think it makes a huge difference. Either way if you have the bucks to spend, these are the 2 most expensive intakes for our A/Cs.
