i wanna slam my car the lowest with some 19s. what do u guys reccomend? i plan to get coilovers for right now and wen i have the money put some aero strut bags over them so i can have best of both worlds. i was looking towards the JICs but i noticed they have a core charge and you gonna have a couple weeks of down time. any coilovers out there without this? that comes complete already? and has anyone have experience with the insurance coilovers? thanks

The "best" IMO would be Junction Produce's high end, made by Bilstein, and go for about $3500. Insurance also make very good c/o's in the $2500 range. If money were no object, I think I'd have those JP Bilsteins on my girl.

umm JIC has "ultra low' VIP coilovers. Would have to get them from japan though...not listed on US site.

i've heard a lot of negative things about the JIC coilovers, how there bouncy and the ride is just too stiff even at minimal drops. thats why im considering on buying some insurance coilovers. i got a price for $1980. is that a good deal?

I have JICs and they are not bouncy...stiff, but definately not bouncy. 1980 sounds like a good price. Keep in mind that if your coilovers are soft and are similar to stock ride quality, you will scrape on every single dip on the road and speed bump. I had to set mine to the stiffest so that I wouldn't scrape in most places and at times they are still too soft. I have the SA-1s I believe.
