I'm about to shoot for 400whp. I had the ACT 6-puck clutch & heavy duty press plate. had it for about 2 years and like once a month to the strip with slicks. changed then to a SPEC stage 4 also 6-puck. they both hold well with slicks but there is a noticable burn on the flywheel and press. plate. Know a twin plate will hold far better but i want to retain streetable driving because it's my daily driver that kicks some *** . the ACT press plate is real haevy but still a bit drivable. any other clutches that could hold good torque without giving up drivability?? was running 11.7 1/4miles but will be running 10s soon

thanks

maybe you should look into running a 350z clutch setup, im no expert, but i think you can use it. its supposed to hold more torque due to be bigger in diameter. other then that, i was going to suggest exedy twin PP, but you already said no to that.

Im gonna try using an Exedy Stage II clutch. ACT Extreme 6 puck might work pretty good too.

We love the Exedy Stage II - excellent clutch, highly recommended.

ACT unsprung 6 puck for hardcore drifting and / or drag racing because they can handle amazing abuse.

SPEC clutches work fine too just don't push their torque limit - go one step higher than you would pick going by the numbers.
