So I know this has been covered a couple of times, but I can't find much info about this. Soo here is the thing, I'm looking into some clutch kits for drifting and found two that I'm interested in (BTW: They are going in a stock KA). One is the SPEC Stage 1 Clutch and The other is the Exedy Stage 2 and was wondering which one could take the abuse more and last me for a while or what other clutch do you Niconauts recommend? BTW: My Budget is under $300. Thanks

It all depends on how you're going to use the clutch. Lots of clutch kicking etc you'll want something that will grab harder and quicker.

I drift fine on an Exedy OEM replacement on my stock KA.

How long have you had it (Time and Miles?) and how much abuse have you given it? To tell the truth I don't know what kind of technique I will use.

Since you will probably clutch kick the crap out of it, get a stage 2 or 3 of some sort. Pretty much anything will do, i see a lot of people run XTD clutches. Personally i only trust quality but still i have heard good things. Go with a name brand if you can afford it, if not xtd is your best bet.

i run an ebay special

f1 racing kevlar clutch stage 2 but the top stage two since they have two for some reason, and an exedy pressure plate that it comes with in the kit

works great

the feel is lighter than stock with more grip and its not a spring dampened clutch so its instant grab

i cracked my last pressure plate from clutch kicking so much but this one is doing great so far, only about 1.5 k on it at the moment

After 2 years of doing alot of clutch kicking my OEM 1 broke. I now have a Stage 2 ACT with a 6 puck, unsprung disk. It works great. Grabs hard. My clutch kicks feel better. Because it is unsprung it is a little different for DD, but not too bad. There is no rideing the clutch with something like that. Its in our out, no inbetween. Cost me $350 shipped.
