My friend has a quick question and I'm asking it for him. Hes got an S14 SR which he will be adding a GT2871R turbo too. He has a clutch question.Which is the best clutch/flywheel combo. These are the parts to choose.Spec stg. 3 clutch-http://www.enjukuracing.com/

Spec billet flywheel-http://www.enjukuracing.com/

Cusco chromoly flywheel-http://phase2motorsports.store....html

What do you think? Any better recommendations?

SPEC clutch sucks donkey balls.

I have Fidanza flywheel with RPS Max Street combo which works very very well.

well his other choice was the Exedy Stage 2 Clutch Kit with the Cusco flywheel or the RPS Max Street Clutch Kit with the Cusco flywheel. So out of the 2 which is the better choice? I've heard no problems with either of these models. If you have and better brands for flywheels post but no Fidanza flywheels.

Also there is the ACT Street (Heavy Duty) Clutch Kit with the XACT Flywheel but I've personally heard some problems with ACT.

Cusco or Toda flywheels are good. Lightweight and Chromoly Steel which holds up to heat. I just got a Exedy Stage II clutch for my car. Ill be putting it in next week i hope. Definitly wouldnt go Spec. Friend had one and it started to slip with only 230whp.

well I think hes going to def. go with the cusco flywheel. I think hes gonna forget about ACT, I've heard problems about it. So its either Exedy or RSP. What do you think? I'm leaning towards Exedy and I hope he will too.

I have had the same ACT for 4 years now, but there isnt much track time on it. The company that makes Exedy also makes OEM clutches so that would probably be a fine choice.

My ACT held up to lots of track abuse. 28 drag runs last season and its now starting to slip only at high rpm. Mine was the ACT Street/Strip though. 6 puck would hold much better. My favorites are Exedy and ACT.

yea its between those two but I think Exedy with the cusco flywheel will be the purchase. He's shooting for around 350whp so this should hold up.
