Hey guys,I need some help again, im about to make a big decision here.I had seen post over post the socall S.D.S. and Haltech EMS, olso had seen it in mags and staff. so How much would it cost and how this system work. I mean you got to install some sort of signal pick up sensors or whatever. or it uses the OE sensors?

PS I prefer to buy an E.M.S. that would cost 1000 rather than spend 4 or 500 dlls for tunning the OE ECU every time I do a mod on my car. olso What system would you recomend to run a s15? Im planing on getting some 350 RWD HP!would the Stand alone EMS make this eaysier. :help

A Haltech would run about 1200-1300 with everything you need last time I checked prices, and no, it doesn't just plug in you have to wire your own harness for it. : ) It will make connecting all the wires easier, but it won't make wiring your car up any easier if you don't know whats what in the first place. : )

Well, seeing how good the Hondata system works for Hondas, I'm very excited to hear about the Nissdata system. On Hondas, you basically change the parameters on the stock computer, using the stock sensors. Very easy, and the wiring is already there. The Nissdata rumored to come out soon, but we have not heard much over the post on this same page (the one with the 409.5RWHP Unopened Motor S13SR Dyno). You may want to bug those guys and find out when one will be available.

The power FC may be what you are looking for. It comes programmed for your car and allows relatively easy tuning with the commander unit. Read about it right here. It completely replaces the stock unit.

This is the way I am going.
