best car and year for vip cars

alright, couldn't get a search, and i hear alot about "purist" and non purist and im trying to learn as much as i can.....

what is considered the start of it all???which cars are considered "the ****" for vip modification

like a 1997 q45??? a.k.a 97 nissan president??

like is there a list, and could you post there u.s counter parts...

i know a few, but what year is considered the best???

do the nissan president body components switch with the q45 components???

the whole goal for me is to get the look of a hg50 president...but with out importing one

the traditional us platforms consist of the lexus gs and ls and the infiniti q45 and m45. no year is better than another, it's all about what you want to build.

there are also some non-tradional platforms that get some undeniable love, such as the 929 and ka9 rl.

president parts swap over to their q45 counterpart although your years are off. all 90-01 presidents are g50 chassis so it swaps over to a 90-96 q45. there was no y33 (97-01 q45/cima) president. then the 02+ presidents swap onto the 02-06 q's. it's not always bolt on but it's close enough.
