Ive got a 98 ka motor with the 232/232 cam setup..

Has anyone done some cam swaps to see what was the best turnout or i should say what felt like the better stronger setup...??

really depends what you are looking for, personal preference

jwt cams 274/274- loose some low end make much more up top and move your peak power way up

crower cams 250/254 iirc- should be avaible soon i think would be great for overall performance

s13 cams 240/248- nice cheap upgrade wont see huge differences but noticeable

2 s13 exhuast cams 248/248- also cheap and a little better than the normal s13 cams

pdm cams - heard these are much like s13 cams

I don't think the JWT cams are actually 274, I think they are more like 256 or so. I don't think the measured them like most other cams are. Which is what .050?

The reason why i asked this question is because i have the 248/248 setup which made a huge difference. I did loose a bit of low end torque and gained top end, but the top end still feels like it dies off at 5k rpm...

Im wondering if i should leave the 232 intake and just drop in the 248 on the ex side, this way i keep all the torque from stock and have more top end with the larger cam..Maybe this way this motor will feel like its gaining more power as the rpm's increase...

yea i know this but thats what they list so thats what i posted

rn- there have been a few guy to try all different combinations with the s13 and s14 stock cams. i believe they came up with a setup like you jsut mentioned as being one of the best. its going to be a trade off

my engine has the stock s14 intake cam (232) and the S13 exhaust cam (248)... I plan on upgrading the cams to probably the Cower ones down the road at some point, but this is my setup for now. I'll letcha guys know how it goes...
