Well, my car is only a daily driver and I already have energy suspension tie rod bushings installed. I have some ES control arm bushings just not installed yet (are they even worth it to install?)

Which bushings would benefit me the most for daily driving?

I was gonna get some rack and pinion bushings because my semi-mechanic said my steering rack moves, but I cant find where they would go (looking through the FSM and searching online).

the steering rack bushings go around the rack itself..they're a bit of a pain to install..took me about an hour and a half with a lift...

but then again, I'm pretty inept..I'm sure a better mechanic could do it faster.

well worth it IMO, I got the NISMO bushings [derlin>urethane] and noticed a bit better steering "feel" and steering input response eemded to improve..this may just be me imagining things though, but the theory on it would mean this should occur.

Also, watch your front LCA and T/.C rod with urethane bushings, they don't allow any axial movement, mwich causes binding and stressing on the actual control arm..and some people have had them break.

also by "steering rack moves" what is he refering to? the actual rack moving, or tie rod play? or what?

also, for daily driving..stock bushings would be more than adequate..they've done wlel for the last 8+ years, right ? :p

True about the stock bushings lol

But a couple of mine are broken and has that ooze gel where the bushing has broke...but I dont know if all the bumps are because of my car being lowered + coilovers + camber plates, or due to bushing issues. It looks like the bushing on top of the ball joints are gone, and I THINK the ones where the sway bar connects (endlink bushing?).

As far as the steering rack movement goes...not quite sure, just remember him saying "your steering rack moves"...I think he meant side to side (thats the movement I think he did with his arms and hands)
