Is there a different type of pad that you can replace the OEM ones with once they wear out? I've heard the stock ones wear out fast.

I and a few others on here have Hawk pads, recommend them.

Do they last longer? I've heard stock brakes only last approx. 25k miles. Are they expensive when compared to stock?

Depends on your driving style if they will last longer. HAWK, Project MU are the ones I would recommend. Dollar for dollar, the after market pads will be better.

I'm running the Project mu front pads and Hawk rears. Only had them on a few days but they seem to offer stronger braking than the factory pads. I will know more as I use them but I recommend them at this point.
