So, I have seen some places that offer braces for just about everything on the 240s nowadays! I have a 93 coupe and I looking to stiffen it up bit for mountain runs, autoxing, road racing, etc.

So far I have gathered that fender braces and nismo power brace (or something simular) is all that is needed. Would a strut bar provide a measureable difference? Also is there any other suspension pieces that I am missing (excluding, shocks, springs, better bushings, and swaybars)?

Check out the Fabricators Market for the Johnny Fraz brace and strut tower bars. I hear fender braces help alot more when you have coilovers. And don't forget to get a good Sway Bar set...

I agree. Also, The least helpful brace in your case would be a c-pillar bar, skip that.

I am just trying to get my S13 up to S14 standards! According to the S14 specifications, it had 50% better torsional rigidity and 100% better bending rigidity.

Hence, why I think SCCA are retards for classifying a 1989 base model S13 and a 1998 manual SE with VLSD in the same stock class!

Hmm... I dunno about all that but take a look at the mods in my sig. Stock to stock, my s13 felt better and it's a hatch!

When I bought my bone stock s14 and compared it to my modded s13, that chassis felt so bad it didn't even feel like RWD, let alone a 240...

It's getting better though, slowly but surely. What does this prove? Not a thing really. lol
