with income tax season comming and me hopefully getting a pretty nice return, i was wanting some opinions/suggestions for my suspension.

should i...

A) just buy some coilovers (probably SPL)

or

B) buy front and rear sway bars, strut tower bars, and some aluminum subframe bushings.

basicly, which will i see a bigger performance gain from. i am pretty sure my stock shocks and struts are starting to become less and less effective as i have considerably more body roll than my roomates old s13 that was slightly newer.

If you're still running the original shocks on your car, definitely go with some coilovers. Yeah, I'm sure your subframe bushings are getting pretty sloppy, and sway bars are nice, but if you're running on shocks well past their prime, I'd go with new coilovers.

Always use broken stuff as an excuse to upgrade.

yeah, you would want to upgrade your stock struts and springs before adding sway bars. you 'could' add sway bars with stock struts and springs, but for performance you would want to add coilovers first.

For the record, tires aren't a "best bang for the buck suspension mod" , they're usually pricey. But usually the best upgrade too.

Oh, and I would go with B along with a new set of aftermarket shocks/struts.

yeah, i know tires are probably the best (get the most from your money, acceleration, handling, stopping) that is what i ment from bang for your buck. waiting on spring to get here before i get new tires
