Hey Guys I was wondering if you had an opinion on what the best head unit is that includes iPod direct control, bluetooth, cd, and radio. Thanks in advance!

If you are talking about single DIN units and you are willing to give up CD playback, then the Alpine IDA-X100 has by far the best iPod playback. It will also do standard tuner, XM/Sirius, Bluetooth, HD Radio and has a 24bit D/A converter. If you absolutely need CD, then you could always add a Alpine changer.

You can check my sig for info on it.

Hey Broadfield thanks for your reply. I know that almost everything costs extra with the Alpine unit. I was wondering if you could tell me how much it would actually cost to have CD, radio, iPod, and bluetooth. Thanks a lot!

The 6 Disc changer would run $269 shipped. The X100 is $249 and the Bluetooth is $169.

So a grand total of $687 shipped. Do you really need CD if you will be using a iPod?
