Hey guys, I put a JWT clutch a lightweight flywheel package in my Z a while back and have figured I have about 10k miles on it. Well I was kinda playing around yesterday dropped it to 3rd and floored it......nothing happened. The RPMs went up but it was obvious that it took a couple of seconds before the clutch grabbed and I accelerated. I have contacted JWT to see if they will replace the clutch (doubtful).

And if they don't I was wondering what a real strong clutch is for the 350z. I want something that is going to last me a long time (JWT lasted less than a year) and that will be able to handle high hp numbers if I'm able to get the Z FI'd in the near future. Be looking at about 600hp at the crank max.

The best clutch hands down is the Carbonetics/ATS twin carbon clutch with the 1350KG pressure plate. They don't wear out. EVA!

I have a used one for sale if your interested. 3000mi. 7 day guarantee.

i can give you a pretty good deal on a nice clutch for your car. our stage 2 with a full face disc is very smooth to drive and hold 400WTQ! its a nice clutch for real, i had it in my 04 redline track edition and loved it.

That's good to know about the JWT clutch. I was just about to get one. I have been saving my clutch forever, I also need a new one. The OS Giken I wanted for my HR is going to run me about $2K, don't want to spend that much.

so if anybody can point me in the right direction, I am thinking Nismo.

i know they are expensive but imo the nismo twin plate super coppermix is the best feeling twin plate clutch for feel, and they hold 670ps so thats pretty good.
