I doubt a 35 will do it in less than 6.
Yeah, I think so. I mean, 5.7 and 6 is .3 seconds difference. I'll have to actually check one day with a computer, because I really feel like with my stock I'm there in 5.7 - 6. No reason to make this lazyboy machine go faster than that.EniGmA1987 wrote:splix wrote:my '08 m45x will do it in 5.8

Cold day, good tires, and a couple small mods and my M35 can do 5.4 seconds. I can beat G35 auto's off the line pretty easily.
Official stock M35 time is 6.0 seconds
Exactly, its an M. The only reason I know the times is because I looked it up haha. I drive it like the boat premium sedan it is.bejjutsu wrote:Yeah, I think so. WHAT!!!!! I had to take taht car out a few times ddue to repairs (I preface this with the fact that I really dont like the G) but that car FAR out performs the M35X. When I stepped on the gas my innards are planted on the back seat, and the turns are extremely tight. I know it isn't my particular car lagging because I've driven two of my boy's Ms, and they feel just like mine. Wow, I sound like a G groupie...never, but that car giddy ups, torque and HP.bejjutsu wrote:Also, I had a 2011 G37X for a few days one time and despite 328 horsies and a lighter frame it just didn't seem to be very different off the line. The only thing I really noticed was that it felt less substantial and didn't take bumps as well.
