Ok, some stupid person left a railroad tie in the middle of I-65 and I had the joy of clipping it.

My question is, does anyone have some advice on where I can go to get this repaird/bent back? Average cost of this? It is a BBS wheel that was bought when the car was bought, so chances of me finding another one of these is next to nill.

Any help is appreciated!

Actually I see them on ebay from time to time...... Theyre the same off the Q45 with the gold middles.....

Sounds to me like a GODSEND of an excuse to get new rims/tires...

I personanly would throw this wheel away, that looks very unsafe and the damage done to it might not ever make it safe... You might get $10 for recycling it!! :)

There are places that repair bent but not broken rims. Yours may qualify. Look in the back of Autoweek.

Might try http://www.wheelcollision.com/ .

Rob I had a bent wheel (but not enough to see)and took it to Butler tire in Atlanta-high quality wheeland tire seller. They subbed it out to some straightenershop in Atlanta- $100 and one day turn around. I have noted the Q manual says don't use repaired wheels, mine is doing fine 6 months later.

Well I called around, and everyone said if I got it re-bent it would break. So it is a good time to get new wheels :) I chose the Enkei MM2's. I will post some pics when I get them in at the end of the week.

The new 16" Enkei's have been in for about a month, but I have not had a chance to load pictures. These wheels are surprisingly light. They feel lighter than the 15" BBS's that were on it.

Rob, those new wheels look great. I kinda miss the gold centers, of the BBS wheels, though.

I saw one silver BBS wheel on eBay, recently. . You might want to get it, to have a complete set, if you decide to sell the car, and want to keep the new wheels.

Most reputable repair shops do a great job, on bent wheels. The process is much better than it used to be 10 years ago. You could send all 4 wheels off, to be trued and balanced.

Like you said, these wheels are hard to find.
