Anyone ever bend valves and try to use the lifters? cause i will need a set rebuilt... by whoever does it around here. Since im doing a full tear down of both my motors and combining all the awesome parts!

just wondering if the valves bending will damage the lifters to anyones knowledge.

As the lifter bores are aluminium, I guess it's possible to damage the bores. Almost no chance of damaging the lifters as they are hardened. They are a tight clearance though, so it's pretty unlikely the lifter or bore would be damaged when you snap a timing belt.

I can get your lifters rebuilt for you. It's about $100 for shipping and everything. You have to ship your lifters to me, I take them down, they rebuild them, and then I ship them back to you.

The rebuild stops the ticking, right? Cause that would be the only prob I ever had with them during my 20K miles of ownership. Well, besides the bottom end letting go

I've re-used them on my engine. no issues. I had the belt jump 8 teeth and wipe out all the exhaust valves

I was under the impression that the sound, was do to air getting in the lifter?

Isn't there a way to bleed them?
