So, I was on my way home from my G/Fs house last week. She lives 2-3 hrs northwest of me. I'm doing about 80mph in the passing lane on I70 coming through Indiana, following the vehicle in front of me a little closer that i like because I was impatient and attempting to pass. I'm fully aware of what's going on, but I see an object in the road and it was too late to dodge it. It was a freaking parking block, about 4" tall, 6" deep, and 4' long.

I hit it, pulled the car over...no visually observable damage to the tires/wheels/suspension. As soon as I pulled off my car was riding like a log-wagon. Got home and got it checked out. Both the front and rear drivers-side wheels are bent to hell. Just frustrated because I just put new tires on the OEM wheels.

So...if any of you guys see a couple of OEM Y33 17" wheels for sale, please let me know. I've searched here in the classifieds and at maxima.org because they pop up there every once in a while, but...no dice.

Thanks

Are these the 5 spoke ones? If so, I think AZhitman has as set for sale.

Oh man that sucks! Thank God you didn't end up crashing from it.

You can have them repaired for about the same price as new ones ($150).

If you can't find 'em and you have to have yours repaired, this guy might have them in stock. He appears to have a pretty large selection of wheels ready to go. You'll pay an exchange fee up front until you send your wheels back, but it might be a better option than having the car laid up waiting for wheels.

For what it's worth, I have no interest, not connection, etc. Just found this place while looking for wheels.

Talked to Greg. He already sold them. Thanks for the heads-up, though.
