long story short. bought 4 rims for a honda and they were bent. should fit on my 240 because it fits both 4 lug patterns. can i use them for drifting? they are 16" axis trophy cup. something like that. 5 star. i have no use for them so why not use them for drifting since they are damaged already. will it be safe? only thing i can thing of is the grip situation in the rear. i only plan on using them for the rear. using better grip tires in the front. it doesn't seem to be bent that bad but there is a little wobble when going like 45? i was told by gateway that they were all bent. any info would help. sorry if this is a noob question. i've searched already. :pface

as long as the wheel doesnt leak, hasve a crack, etc it *should* be fine. I mean, if your drifting, you'll probably scrape/bend up wheels eventually anyways. Make sure the bend isnt bad(bead seat is OK, no cracks, etc) beofre putting them on the car.-chet

thanks. im pretty sure there isn't any cracks on them and they do not leak for sure. but im not 100% sure about the crack. I will definitely check for that. nice rims but bent and it was hella cheap. i never new they were even bent until i took it to get them balanced. anyways, im going to drift the f$%k out of those rims and tires. :D on a track or lot of course. im a drift noob. :rolleyes:help

it could just be the shop u brought them too. my brother had his rims ballanced at firestone once and they didnt even do them cus they said they were all bent. but really we watched the guy do it from afar and he couldnt even get them on the machine properly and he actually only even tried two. then we brought them to a regular private shop and they ballanced up pretty well. if u didnt even know they were bent before then u have nothing to worry about

I have heard that Honda wheels won't fit on a 240.

SmithSR (Moderator and all around good guy):"NO OEM HONDA wheels fit properly, because Honda uses ball seat lugs/wheels. You cannot properly fit any Honda wheel to any Nissan because Nissan uses 12x1.25 thread pitch, and you need Honda specific lugs on Honda wheels. Honda uses 12x1.5 thread pitch. NOT A MATCH! The wheel will fit on the car, but whatever lugs you use will be wrong."

Just FYI

They are aftermarket AXIS wheels. not OEM

Still odd how a wheel that is setup for two different seating lugs would fit on both cars. Hope they fit.

I always thought they made them that way to keep it universal to other 4 lug pattern cars. It's a good think to look into though. My wheels are at my parent's house so I will have get them and install them on the 240 to see if it'll fit. ;)

I was around when my friend tried to fit a set of OEM prelude wheels on the rear of his car. Didn't fit, as the hub centerbore was too small. What's weird is they came on his silvia front clip.
