I was driving with a slightly bent rim for a couple months due to no time to take it to repair. And after repairs, the bend was gone, but it still vibrates on high speeds...

the shop guy told me its probably a bad tire then, cause when he threw the rim on the spinner, it spun straight (i saw before and after to prove the difference)

but now i fixed it, and the car still vibrates on the side i put the rim on (passenger rear), when i go over 80KM (50miles) i feel the vibration when i am slightly turning right, and non when i have my wheel to the left (that ensures that the vibration is coming from my right side)

question is, is it true that my tire is causing this? or could it be something mechanical in hte suspension area? becasue i used a bent rim for too long?

sounds like running on that bent rim has damaged you wheel bearing. That would be my guess.

thats what i would be guessing too, but do you think the wheel bearing is covered under warrenty? or is it normal wear and tear and not covered under warrenty, but then it is just that one bearing tho...

well if the dealership found out the cause it probably wouldn't.

but if you go in and play alittle dumb, say it just started vibrating a couple days ago it would probably be covered.

you need to get it check out anyway. It would be really bad news if it failed completly while you were driving

no need to rotate unless it's that time, but have it balanced. should cure your problem.

I think the "spinner" was the tire balancer.

sorry newbie, and yea i think the spinner is the balancer haha

and its not the wheel/tire im so concerned about, i drove it with my spare tire (that thin piece of ****) and max speed i could go was 80km on those things, and i did feel the same vibration (but not enough to make sure its the same problem)...if i only i could get a wheel to go 120km on then i can feel it forsure

try putting the wheel in question on a different corner.

I still think it's the wheel bearing

where are you feeling the vibration?

to be exact, the vibration is from the right (90% sure its the rear)and when im traveling 100km / 60miles and when i have my wheel turning slightly to the right i will feel it, the faster and more angle the wheel turned, the louder/stronger vibration. When i am turning left at highspeeds i feel absolutely nothing, only when i am traveling at a angle to the right

so on the rear right side of the car.. ok I was wondering because I feel a small vibration on my gas pedal but It really depends on the road Im on or sometimes when I'm turning. I took it to the dealership and they told me the car is fine and that it mostly caused by the wheels since it's a different size which can make the car a ruff ride. Good luck with your issue I hope it all gets worked out, keep us informed
