I'm currently going to school at Wyotech here at the bay area, and I'm lucky enough to get an alignment done for free. After the whole process, they told me that my front passenger couldn't get aligned cause there was something damaged. I talked to the instructor who diagnosed it and he says its the shock tower and that I'd have to get the frame straightened out.
Now I remember practicing drifts around this golf course and I stupidly drove around while checking for cops. BAM~! Hit the front passenger tire onto a really high curb/gutter. So this could be the cause of the damage.
Dont get me wrong, I'm not doubting the wisdom of the instructors at my school, I'm just trying to get a heads up for my wallet. So my question is, has anyone had experience with a "frame straightener" and the rate that body shops charge to use it? I'm just trying to figure out how big of a wallet I should have when I get this fixed.
PS - I AM BROKE~! >;P
