I was looking into getting a bigger oil pan for my sr rebuild but is there really any benifit to using one?

im gussing you wont dirty up the oil as quickly but is there any other reason for me to get the greddy oil pan?

Bigger oil capacity will have higher heat capacity.

Greddy aluminum oil pan acts as a heat sink for the oil to cool down

Greddy oil pan also has flaps to prevent oil starvation during high G turns.

Its as ILikeMy240sx says. I bought one when i did my swap, i think its worth it. There are other brands too. Its too important of a part to go cheap with, so i'd stay away of the fake ones on ebay. Better do it right the first time...
