Belt tensioning specs...

Ok, I successfully replaced my chain guides, but am getting a slight squeel when I first start my engine. I am pretty sure it has to do with the tension on the belts, but the manual was a bit vague. Yes, the bolts holding on the pulleys are torqued to spec, but the manual shows a diagram with tension numbers and no explanation on getting them to their standard. Anyone know how to do this, or at least a good eyeballing it rule of thumb? Thanks in advance.

I do have a tool to measure belt tension.I'm not sure if Infiniti has a specific tool for the job, I'm sure others know.If you are getting a noise on start up coming from the belts, they are probably to loose. It's usually the alt. belt. If you do not have a tensiontool try tightening that belt. But be careful not to overtighten! The belts will loosen anyway due to stretching.

i like to be able to tug on them and have about 1/4 inch of play.... Tight, but not CRANKED on there.
