My car squealed like crazy one morning then the power steering went out and a big puff of smoke comes out from beneath the hood. I open the hood and i see the belt a blazed. It looks like it goes from the waterpump to the power steering, to another pulley below (crank pulley?). Anywhoo I went to autozone and they gave me the belt it showed up in the computer but it said it only connects to 2 pulley, (waterpump, powersteering) and it looks kind of thin. I dont remember what the old belt looked like but this one seems to have 3 rivets in it. Is this the right belt? Anyone have a pic of there engine bay I can compare too? I also realized that the waterpump froze on me causin the belt the burn up, so I picked up another water pump. My last question is, where the hell is the tensioner to so I can get the belt on there?? By what pulley is it at?Thanks for the help! its a ka24de (1991)

the powersteering pump is the tensioner(it has 2 bolts on the bracket that make it the tensioner)

also they only told you that it connects to 2 pulleys because the crank pulley drives them, so yes that is the right belt, also it has 3 rivets on it.

I see. but the belt actually goes on 3 pulleys correct, including the crank pulley?
