ac belt has a tensioner, its bolted ot the AC bracket. that has to be loosened at two points, first you need to loosen it at the pulley, then there is a nut on the bottom that adjusts the tension.

alternator is another easy one. you do the exact same thing. loosen the nut on the front of the "adjuster." the big long arm with the slot in it bolted to the motor and the top of the alternator. after that one is loose, you need to loosen the one on the bottom corner of the alternator, attached to the bootom of the block. then you adjust the tension with the bolt on the "arm" that is closest to the passenger side fender.

the ps belt is the same as this one, same style adjuster, only sometimes the "bottom corner bolt" is hidden under the ps pulley. so just rotate the engine around a few turns to loosen that one.

However, when i do that ps/water pump belt i never loosen that pulley. i take the water pump pulley off, and then i put the belt on and sometimes its not too difficult to push the pulley back on. n I would do it the way i described earlier however

no its not necessary to remove the fanshroud, you can just run it around the fan through the shroud, no need to take out intake too.
