if i understood correctly, there is a belt on the driver side that is not moving with the engine running.... is that correct??
the belt that is on the driver side is the AC belt, try reaching for it, and see if it is tight..... if it is loose, then inspect the belt (if it has a lot of cracks on the groves side, then replace it, it shouldnt cost more than 15 bucks) , AC pulley, and the idler pulley (make sure they turn), then tighten the bolt (yellow arrow from the bottom)
if you would rather take the car to a garage, or found a problem that you cannot fix (AC belt is not moving), then you should remove the belt before you drive the car anywhere, if the AC belt stays there, it might get cut and damage other belts (or maybe worst), this is how to remove the AC belt
the tools neede, 12mm socket, 14mm socket (both 3/8" drive), and the same number wrenches...
note: mark down (by a pen or a light scratch) the current position of the power steering bolt, and the position of the AC pully prior to loosening...
1) remove the negative terminal from the battery2) now you have to remove the power steering belt to get to the AC belt, for the Power Steering belt, loosin the bolt (blue arrow in the front), then loosen the belt (blue arrow from from the bottom, although i remember loosening the bolt from the passanger side, that bolt is called the adjustment bolt)3) the Power steering bracket should be loose now, push the power steering pump down (you are better off using a rubber malet)4) the power steering belt (which is the green arrows) is now loose, remove it out of the way5) the AC belt (red arrows) is now easily removed by loosening the idler pully (yellow arrows)6) loosen the pullys bolt (yellow arrow from the front), then loosen the adjustment bolt (yellow arrow from the bottom)7) keep loosening the adjustment bolt untill the belt is loose enough to be removed 8) install back the Power Steering belt, and tighten it's belt untill you get to the mark that you made at the begining of the procedure..
now it is safe to run the engine, drive the car, keep in mind that you wont have a working AC, so dont turn the AC button on untill you install the belt back.....
you can inspect the belt and pulleys, if one of them (AC pulley or the idler pully) is jamed or loose, then the problem is diagnosed. replacing the idler is very easy, but the AC pulley is a real pain in the ars
i hope this helps, good luck
