Belt Help!!!!

I just changed the belt on the power steering pump the one that also goes to the fan and i started it up and drove down the road and back and got out and my radiator overflow thing was bubble and it was really hot can anyone tell me how to solve this problem

hmm, considering that the water pump is on the same belt as the power steering it sounds like something went wrong with the install. Did the power steering work ok after you changed the belt? I think you would notice if you forgot to hook the belt around the water pump, but check to make sure it isn't slipping on the pully or anything.

edit: this is on a DE engine
