bellhousing removal

I have seperated my transmission from my engine but now i am stuck, after i remove all the bolts that link the bellhousing to the transmission how do i pull the two pieces apart?

Either a rubber mallot or a brass hammer. Those things either come off real easy or sometimes they are a pain in the ***.
