Like I said in the title , I need tips , I went through 3 oil pans this summer .

Since the pan is definitly lower than the crossmember , its pretty much impossible to fit a skid plate . I cant seem to find a stronger-higher-larger or something like that aftermarket pan.

As of now I thought about making my own mount , a bit higher than oem , but im not a fan of having my engine higher than it sit now...

Any ideas beside ''raise your car'' ? Did somebody made a slim oil pan or a custom skid plate ?

Any help would be great !

I got the Ruckus one .

I would like to know if using the r33 x-member with high engine mount ( i.e. Nismo ) get the pan flush with the bottom of the x-member .

I made my own mounts, and having smacked my pan on the ground in the past I decided to lift the motor up out of harms way.

Yeah, it sits a little higher, but major piece of mind IMHO.

I have the Top Hat Mount kit and i had stock motor mounts in it at first because my Megans had not arrived yet, and the oil pan sat lower than the crossmember and it touched my sway bar. After installing the harder Megan mounts. the motor did not sag as much and now it sits flush with the crossmember. Along with that i can fit a finger between my sway bar and oil pan. The pan sits real close to flush, but now at least i am at the point i can make a skid plate just for extra safety.

If you do this or have done this, i was going to just cut some 1/4" plate and shim my motor mounts like these other guys have said. that would be the easiest way. you could even go so far as to shim it to where you want it, then come back and tac weld the shim onto the mount kit you have.

-Too poor for the dry sump but thats a good idea.-I will try a 3-hockey-pucks custom motor mounts cause even nismo are not thick enough on my car-actually I will be even lower next summer-Maybe I'll try to make a smaller pan but i guess i would have to make a custom oil pickup also ...

You could make the pan wide with flaps in it to keep the oil by the pick up. Or swinging pick up.

Did you modify your mounts bc top hats have a cheesy black marshmallow for a isolator
