Its to good to be true... I know it is. A guy with a WRX w/ rims, wing, nitrous, etc comes into my work (subway) sometimes and we've talked about cars, etc. I found out he works at Holley, so thats cool ya know. He said he gets free parts, free dyno, free work done to his car. Well tonight, I was joking around and asked if Holley would want to sponsor my car. He said yea man, might be able to do something with it. Just send me some pictures, information about it and if its cool enough we might be able to hook you up. <--- that is about the face I made. I need to talk to him somemore and see whats up w/ it. But, being sponsored means going to shows with my car to represent Holley, etc. I dont know if I have time to do that really. Well, no I know I dont have time. I just need to talk to him. But, considering everything you would have to do if you had a car sponsored by someone like Holley, would you do it?

Thats a tough one im sure they would make your car a sticker album on wheels but on the other hand you would have a funded kickass ride. its all up to you and how much time you have and if you want your car to be that type of car.

Thats the thing, if they would want me to put stickers all over the car, then NO. The WRX guy has no stickers at all on his car, but then again he works there.

Sounds like a good opportunity, but he might ask for a favor in return, like if he can be the next Clay Henry or Jared.

Well I think it is worth it if you want some of their products. Hell or even if you get free dyno time and free labor or help with installs it is worth its weight in gold if you only have to make a few appearances to help Holley. Usually they don't ask to make your car a sticker palace. Just a few small stickers on different sides of the car. I wouldn't accept a sponsorship if they wanted to put their name down the entire side of my car in ghey graphics cause that is not my style. Anyhow I would look into it Ben and see what the sponsorship entails and then decide if it is worth it to you or not.

if it's a discount on stuff that could be pretty sweet too, being as Holley (I think Edelbrock may own them now...) owns a lot of other subsidiaries and what not.

You could always get some old muscle too:D

If they would want to at least partly fund my swapping to a ca18 or, if they want, rb? then I would be up for it, hehe. I will try to look into it, and if its a pretty subtle sponsorship (i put a couple small stickers on the car, they give me dyno time, install help, etc) then I would probably do it. We'll see.

Now that I think about it, why would Holley want to even bother w/ a relatively stock 240sx? Unless they just really want to get one and do a swap in it, then they probably wouldn't waste their time.... bah, i'll just talk to them
