I'm right there with you brother! Why can't people just remember what we were taught back in Kinder Garden (if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all) LOL Where's the love? hahaDINO THE WHEEL GUY wrote: I have been on the forums here at NICO for about a year or so , and have met a few nice people. The one thing I have noticed is that if you make an error like leaving your caps lock on or mispell a word here or there, there is always some one right there to rip you a new a$$ hole. I am here to talk cars and share insight with people that might know more about these cars than I do. Please keep in mind that we are all into cars of one form or another and should try and support one another in the car hobby. you never know who you are taking a stab at!
Great going, moron. You should know that you need to capitalize the first word in every sentence! What a n00b.DINO THE WHEEL GUY wrote:you never know who you are taking a stab at!
I agree, it just irritates me (NICO as a collective I'm sure) when you want to help out a guy but you hurt your brain trying to figure out what the hell his point is due to bad grammar, punctuation, spelling. There are quite a few people around here who type like they never made it past 7th grade English class.BrianHarte wrote:I look at all these and just see stupid people.I want to see our world and country progress.I don't want to see a new generation of internet bred idiots. simple spelling errors are okay. I make them all the time.
Teaching people the difference between "your" and "you're" should be a key.
Liking cars is fine, but let's try and have a pool of EDUCATED enthusiasts.
By saying that, you might hurt their brain.mattblancarte wrote:Just reply to a poorly written post with, "I, alongside my fellow Nissan enthusiasts, are having trouble deciphering your written language. Please rephrase your question(s). Thank you, and good day."
You never know who you're dealing with on the Internet, it's the Internet.Anonymity is both good and bad.DINO THE WHEEL GUY wrote:No its not a threat you just dont know who your dealing with sometimes. And not always a good idea to throw around insults, besides it's just not nice
