Time is coming soon for the October 6th First Friday Niter Rally - HARVEST MOON! This is a BEGINNER FRIENDLY event! It is created for maximum driving fun through the Santa Monica Mountains and easy navigation.

Rallymaster Paul McGaffey has written a pure tour course using Monte Carlo style timing. You will get very simple, turn by turn instructions with no tricks, traps or boring average speeds. You will be given "Car Zero Times" at each Checkpoint and exact mileages. So, no guesswork, no complicated math. Just add your car number in minutes to the Car Zero Time and you know when to cross each clearly visible Checkpoint sign. If you get there early, you may stop or creep without penalty, so long as you do it safely and out of traffic lanes.

This rally uses the Richta GPS Checkpoints Competitor app for timing and scoring, with timing in seconds. The maximum penalty this month is 60 seconds (1 minute) per checkpoint. The app is FREE and easy to use on any GPS-enabled smartphone. Go to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or https://richtarally.com/. You don't need additional timing equipment or expensive rally computers. Your Official Time shows in the app on your smartphone!

Also, if you want to see all the scores at the Finish, download the FREE Richta Scoreboard app also.

Please try to register online at:
https://www.motorsportreg.com/events/oc ... cca-481380.

If that doesn't work for you, you can still register in person at the start. Meet us at the Bank of America REAR lot, 10300 Sepulveda Blvd (Sepulveda and Devonshire) in Mission Hills. In-person registration opens at 7:00 pm, with the first car out at 8:01 pm; there is a beginner/Richta meeting at 7:40 pm. We will finish about 10 p.m. in Camarillo where scores will be announced and winners will receive awards.
