Hi there. I have been wanting a mid 90's Nissan XE truck for years. Yesterday I came across a 1993 Nissan truck for $1,300.

Details are below (bad is in bold). I am most likely looking at it this Saturday. What do you guys think?

Details:
-Missing tail gate
-Speedometer and odometer is broken
-Needs tires

-5-Speed
-A little over 225,000 miles
-New timing chain and tensioner
-Decent paint job
-Interior is in good shape
-23 miles to the gallon
-Heater and Air conditioner work great
-Has a cd player

Also, it looks like the front parking lights are missing.

I posted this at http://nissanforum.org/ before I saw how not active it is. So now it is here

Looks like a good 1300 dollar truck. The cluster itself could be bad or just the speed sensor cant remember if that year is cable driven or not. If it is, thats most likely your problem. Looks like a good buy though.

93 still used a cable drive for the speedo. Finding one of those clusters can be tricky since it's the only year those gauges were used and nothing else is compatible. The rest looks good and $1300 is fair. I'd offer him $1100 and see what he says.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm debating with my fiance over where we will fit a total of 4 cars at our house. I'll have to make a decision tomorrow.
