Call you LOCAL authorties(city,state police depts) and ask them, not someone from a different state.

You SHOULDNT need to have it inspected after the conversion, unless your car has a salvage/repair title prior. There is no law against doing a conversion of this nature, making it not illegal. I know this, because I called.

u said the only place u would trust is SP ENGINEERING for tuning. You think they could help me with a problem i am having? my car needs to be tuned really bad. It bogs out at about 5500rpm's average. i took it to a place called aerodyne and they told me if i get the apexi avc-r boost controller they could tune it.

TRUST me,SP ENGINEERING is the best shop you can take your car to,it might cost a pretty penny but your car will run like a champ,plus they specialize in turbo cars they know what they are doing.....i have nothing against car shops,but i know most of them take they easy way out and do some cheap work.......cheap work isnt good and good work isnt cheap.....remember that kids

funny, i see in your description that you drive a 180sx. the last time i checked, the 180sx only came as a RHD.

and there is nothing wrong with the ssqv.

Ya except I didn't convert my car to RHD. It was manufactured that way.

BOV=lame.

Yeah, I'd be real worried about blowing up my stock T25. Who cares?

External gate + no BOV when new turbo goes on? Please? It'll sound cooler than the ear piercing SSQV.

right.. and when that new turbo goes?

So what if he wants a loud BOV. You can't argue that they are unnecessary. Compresser surge isn't exactly great for a turbo, and it doesn't matter if its externally gated, the air build-up is on the wrong side of the turbine for that external gate to be of any use.

Anyways..

Olym, sweet project man, that thing is gonna be so clean when its done.

I wish I had the money to do all that to my car

I don't know how anyone (Lil_JV) can have anything but good things to say about your car. You are taking your time, and doing things right, and it is paying off like mad. Anyone who can talk so much smack for no reason, must have a severe case of car envy. Absolutely loving the wire tuck.
