dam thats pretty sweet. I saw this one dude that had bright red ones in the cluster of his 240... That was pure hotness. haha and I guess the MR2 has the same cupholderage problem.

Thanks! You possibly could. It fits all double din setups like that. My take a little work but it should fit from what i know anyways.

Yep, they of course like pretty much all sports cars never came with them, but Toyota made a very limited number of custom ones that everyone always trys to find; and are super expensive if you do find one. So this is a much cheaper alternative and looks just as good if done right.

That cupholder originally came in the Mercury Sable. A lot of Saab guys (self included) buy and install them, then realize the angle of the ash tray makes the cupholder useless for anything but 8 oz cans.

Really?

I didnt know that. I always just assumed it was originally from a Saab. Learn something new everyday i reckon!

With the way my dash lays back with these cup holders i wont be able to ever fill any of the cups totally up b/c they would spill every were. But its still better then having to hold them between your legs.lol

I bought one of those cupholders for my Maxima, too.

Light distribution looks great...no hotspots that I can see. There's really nothing like crisp white-lit gauges. I've driven cars with all sorts of gauge colors and I do a lot of driving at night...white is definitely easier on the eyes...better than red, green, blue, all of them. More attractive, too, in my book.

I like the amber lights in the Pathy.
I forgot what the Q45's gauge cluster looks like lit up but I remember it's pretty comfy on the eyes as well.

I changed out my gauge cluster and autometer gauges for that same cool white stuff and I like it.
I might change them to amber sometime along the road though.

Red gauges rock for night time driving. Here's mine, disregard the cheesey Glowshift garbage gauges, I have VDO Vision series gauges in there now. I replaced the heater control light with LED so everything matched.

I get my bulbs from Autolumination.com.

White probably is the best but red is the close second. And if the white is too bright, the dimmer switch can handle that.

This is what I do not want to see. I dont know if it is just the picture but seeing 'hotspots' I guess, where the redline is or where a bulb is directly under an exposed area is annoying.

Im suprised all of mine still work. They are a bit off white and not super bright sooo, time for an upgrade!...... sometime :squint:

I hate red and orange gauges. Its my least favorite thing about BMWs.

I like optitron gauges:

In the LS400 the warning lights are projected on to the display from above, and in the Seville the digital speedo is projected at an angle to create a 3D effect. The needles appear to float on the display in 3D like lasers.
