Ok, you know the sound a vw bug makes, that twittering kind of sound. I have a similar type of sound coming from my throttle body when I let off the throttle. I've checked for vacuum leaks, and the bottom nipple on the tb is plugged. Only thing I can possibly think of is that I need to adjust the throttle cable? Does not seem to affect performance, runs and idles like a champ.

It has no slack, I was thinking maybe it is too tight and keeping it open just a millimeter or something. It's not vibration, it's more of an air sound, not metallic sounding at all.

When cold starts up to around 1600 rpm, settles to around 800. Don't quote me on that, I'd have to double check, but it idles fine.
