Ive skimmed over the web a bit about this gizmo i picked up for cheap. Ive got my new engine all in and thought id put it on but 1st check with you guys. I know its supposed to be a really aggressive" ignition cut and if you play with it enough your engine will take a poop.....

No i dont just want the tofu bang bang i SUCK at launching and need an edge against my brothers 98 C5.
^yes its at a race track local 1/8 mile we go at it all the time (miata vs civic si) then (gsxr600 vs cbr600) ..anyways

I love the idea of full throttle shift too sounds like a turbo cars dream probly drivetrain nightmare!

Whats your guys input i dont see why its any different then msd/or rom tune fuel cut same concept just dont know why it get so much hate. My thoery is that yep it cuts ignition yep if you do it a whole bunch whers it go -well into the oil of course-whats that do BAD if you do it say ....50 times in a 3000 oil change and its bout 30% fuel to oil LOL

^anyways  dont flame its pretty friken cool scare old people hehehe :dblthumb:

my car used to pop and shoot fireballs like crazy, now it wont ev en pop after wot... i miss it :frown:

dont recall why the b r is bad, maybe somethign to do with how it cuts, thats alot of fuel exploding, and if it does it in the turbo you could grenade the snail. Oh and would this not waste a ton of fuel? I know i know kat guys dont worry about mpg,but I do get 20ish mpg. I have seen excess fuel explode inside a muffler, the mufflers inside became its outside. :naughty:

its more or less a track car so....no muffler just little glass pack probly jsut run it 3in right out the side maybe thru fender if i have too

I watched a few you tube vids and noticed the rpms go ALLOVER the place which says its probly not very healthy for timing components etc. Maybe it doesnt "cut fast enough or at right time so it essentially causes detonation sometimes? I honestly dont know theo if it happend late just less power....couldnt happen early ....no event just RICH on next Bang miss again ...bang in exhaust---ill just put the thing on and only use it sometimes.

the only time you have to worry about them hurting a turbo is if it has ceramic exhaust wheel like in the rb turbos. the violent pulses from the popping will shatter the wheel. any quality steel tubine wheel shouldnt mind this at all tho

hmm. ^ im using an rb25 series 2

Im just gonna see what happens i dont think it hurt it i mean their designed to handle bout 2000deg. F whats a little fuel ignition and little bang gonna do even tho if it can explode a muffler i heard.

Anyone actually used one on a ceramic wheel and had bad stuff. What are rx7 wheels made of they use bee*r allot if im not mistaken. They dont get bad juju as far as rotarys go. Maybe ill fig a way to put it on my buddys camaro.......ehh

The "pops" you hear in the exhaust deliver concussive forces. Imagine holding a grenade. If your hands were made of steel they would take it. If they were ceramic like the dishes in an old womans china cabinet what do u think??
