I have an 1989 240sx. I parked it about 6 years ago. Before I parked it I put fuel stabalizer in it since I wasn't sure when I would be able to get to it to try and fix it. Question is what all would I possibly need to do to get it running after all these years? Already know it needs a new battery and probably new fuel filter but is there anything else that I would need or has it been so long that the engine has been ruined by the oil?

Thanks.

I would pop off the fuel line going to the engine and turn the key on, have the fuel line go into a bucket or something so you can take a look/smell at the fuel in there.

Sitting for 6 years i bet the fuel isnt that good anymore. id do a quick check for mice nest under the dash, hood incase they chewed wires and could promote a potential fire hazard. (the firefighter in me coming out :chuckle: )

Basically just a once over, check oil/coolant etc.
