Modern Motorsports makes the coilovers, IMO, they're a good product and you can get them here

As far as 280ZX 5 speeds, there are some differences between the non-turbo 5 speeds, as there are two basic ones you'll be looking for. There is one 5 speed with two tabs that sit between the speedo drive and the transmission mount. This is the wide ratio box with the .86 (IIRC) OD while the transmission with one tab that sticks out the right side (as viewed from the tailshaft end) that is the close ratio box but has a .74? OD which will give you better mileage. The Nissan 5 speed for the turbo ZX is actually a BW NWC t-5 transmission with 1-4 being very similar to the early 240Z 4 speed but with the .74 OD as well. This transmission is a bit stronger than the older Nissan 5 speed, though if you see much power above 350 and you 're hard on it, expect to give G-force a call for some uprated internals for the transmission or start looking for a 300ZXT box, which requires a $hit ton of work compared to the bolt in options above (note the T5 requires a bit more work, the diff is a little bigger and the flange on the R200 has larger bolts, so you'll need those bits for the swap.
Making it a 5 speed shouldn't be difficult, just getting the linkages set up correctly is the most time consuming part.
Hope this helps!Bob
