The Marine Corps has kept me busy and away from my car. For a bit to long I might say. Takin the engine into the shop later this month and Wantin to put rods in while I'm at it. Reliability is gonna be priority w/ 350 hp daily with 450+ track days in mind later on down the road.

Lookin to get good deal on some quality rods from a sponsor pref. Been away from teh community for a good part of the year so not up on info. Any pointing in the right direction is mucho appreciated.

Sorry Fiz, but figured u have enough of my $ to make up for it.

As the original plan was I'm goin all out (almost) on this car. Starting a new list of needed items. Funds atm is 6-8k so using that as a base.

Starting with things i have including the S-13 -Aem Ems w/ wideband (fiz's) -Fully built head-port/polish upgraded valves '93 cams (Fiz's) -Cp 89mm pistons -Koyo rad, dual Fal fans -B&M shifter -Lsd -Arp head/main studs -full suspension/brakes/tires/wheels

Things I need- Pretty much rest of turbo system to include(guessing on prices and filling in with some common ones for an idea. Please fell free to chime in with better options, cost not being main factor but still important)

Re-machine engine/assemble/install -?$2000Re-tune EMS -$600Rods -crower -$700Bearings -Clevite? -$75Fuel system -turbo240 with walbro -$700High quality turbo/mani peakboost/cheapturbo.com -$2350Intercooler and piping fill in the blank -$600Exhaust Apexi deal from enjuku -$400Random expenses -?$500

Total from rough guess... Just under 8k budget

Now I know this isnt leaving me with much room to fudge, but with main expense being in the Marines being my internet bill, I can add a good chunk to this each payday.

But like I said this is a ROUGH guess and can be sure to sway either way, especially with other kit options and what not. Many thanks for help ahead of time and lookin to getting the T in my Ka-T project as soon as i can.

Just expect to have a lot of unexpected purchases while installing, and getting everything running good. A lot of things can go wrong. I always get excited and forget to buy certain things.
