that sucks about the hands, they're something im sure everyone out there takes for granted until something like that happens. get better fast bro.

btw, totally respect the built not bought mentality, if I was in socal, i'd be right there to help ya. What plans you got for the upcoming 'vert?

Welcome to the vert forum.

Wow... I don't know what I'd do with myself if I had two broken hands... It must take you forever to type a reply. I feel for ya on that one.

Don't do an RB20... If you're going to do an RB swap, why not go 25 or 26? I can understand if you get a killer deal on a 20 or something, but I guess I just don't understand the appeal of the lower displacement.

Personally, if I were doing an RB swap, I'd want to do an R30DET. I might just have to do that one of these days - I don't see that often enough. Understandably so... Good luck sourcing and RB30 block.

on the topic of RB30s, the 3.0l motor only came in an Australian sedan and it was a SINGLE CAM!!! You have to swap out the head for a 25/26 DET head for it to be worth it.

i like the 20's for a few reasons, one being one of the cheaper nissan motors, and easier of swaps, no custom driveshaft, and because they sound absolutely sick =) im over it though, probibly gonna settle for a bottom mount ka-t setup, this isnt going to be my track car or daily, but it will see both, im not trying to make mad power, my sense of speed is skewed anyways from the bike. only shooting for 250+hp and a nice torque curve.

came across another thread that gave me ideas...vh45de w/z32 transmission...if im gonna swap its gonna be that brute
