yeah i would deff. be renting it out. and still be living with my dad. i have people that are willing to pay close to 30k. Then again im never going to be given a free car with 5 miles on itdoug810 wrote:It would be a great investment due to the economy being down and housing prices are shot. That is if you find a buyer willing to pay almost sticker price for it. You can rent out the condo and make money monthly, that is if you are still living with you parent. Later on when the economy picks up you can sell your condo for a profit and buy the same year camaro for a lower cost. Cars Depreciate Faster Usually than Property. Just throwing it out there.
how would i loose money if i were to sell it now? 2011 camaro is just around the corner..jeff420 wrote:
its good advice to invest the money but why a friggen condo? dont see how that would make you money. would give you a place to live but unless you get a badass deal i dont see you making money off it unless you rented it out. if you sell the camaro now, you would lose money. just keep the car for awhile then sell it. and for the love of god dont do a dry shot of nitrous. wet is the only way to go. personally id keep the camaro stock. unmolested cars sell better.
lol my girl loves the backseat of the camarodoug810 wrote:I think the advice they have given you is wise. If a girl knew you had your own condo, she would be all over you LOL I think it sounds better when you say "do you want to come over to my condo" or " do you want to come over to my back seat of my camaro"

i too have to pay taxes on it. the one i got was the base 1lt model. worth about $24,8XX. i hear you ill post pics up this weekend of both the 240 and camaro. dont have any more pics of it due to the fact i have no place to put it at my home so its stored at a ucnles house. im broke as hell lol, thats why i made up my mind and selling the camaro and invest the money into something. i live in Nevada so hopefully the taxes will not be that high.CA18Magic wrote:So how about those pics of the 240 and Camaro side by side? Not trying to speculate but i have a family member that won a car as well. Funny thing is, even though the car was free... taxes had to be payed for it. Winnings are still taxable just like the lottery.
Taxes on winning a car is about 1/3 MSRP value (http://contests.about.com/od/taxesfinan ... cartax.htm) So if thats the case, lets say your 2010 Camaro (depending on trim) was $30,000? Or better yet, lets say you got the lowest trim.. around $25,000. So at the age of 19 you had $8,333.00 just laying around? Because i know for sure if you did your 240 wouldnt be in the shape that it is in.
I dont mean to be a hater.... but truth is i am lol. Just a pet peeve of mine, internet forums and posers. But hey, if you can prove me wrong.. have at it. But i'll need a little more than pictures of a 240 and a Camaro together for convincing.
well thats fine, you can think what you want. doesn't really matter to me if you think i own it or not. like i said ill post up pics of both cars when i get the chance.RB25S14Whaa wrote:Hmmm, seeing this makes me wonder. If i won a car like that, i'd have a million pics of it. At my house, with my dog... especially right next to the current car i have! Atleast!!! And now its hard to believe, because... how do we know its not your uncles car that your taking pics of with your 240?? I second ca18magic on this one... not really hating on you. Just wondering now lol
i was thinking the same. but now that i made up my mind and em selling it, imma drop like a grand or two on the 240 (coilovers, paint it, boost maybe.krash wrote:dude, youre 19 and sitting on about 15k. I wish I was you. Sell the camaro, pay the taxes off, and put a down payment on a house. Rent that sucker out so it pays for itself. Then when a good chunk of the mortgage is paid off, move in. Lucky bastard
Nice cars man
my man u read my mind! lolTurboSauce wrote:dude, IMO, I'd sell it. drop at least 5k on the 240, ( get new everything, brakes, tires etc.)then buy a house, rent it out. let it pay for itself.stay with parents. until like 25 or i make more money off of the house. then move in build a nice garage. look for a decent job and after that buy a newer car, and strip the 240 for track only use.or buy a skyline.
Yep full coverage.Nismo775 wrote:is that for full coverage?
