I have an 04 G35 sedan and look to improve on the bumpers looks. Short of adding a kit I was thinking of doing some mesh where the openings are and possibly placing some foggies there. Sort of looking like the M45. Has anyone tried this before? Would you happen to have any suggestions. Any feedback is welcomed.

I haven't done it but I have considered opening up my factory "sport" vents and customizing a duct system for the front brakes. The lower grilles should be held in by clips for removal, otherwise I had not really thought about a mounting system.

There are two openings that are unused. Position is decent for brake duct use I would assume (will have to look into it). Would be good whenever I decide to track the car.

Cooling brakes will never hurt a thing and the better it can disapate heat the better. Anything to keep it cooler esp when tracking a car

if it were to be used on a track i can understand. i am sure you could create a fiberglass duct coming off that vent. it really would be awesome.

has anyone done any kind of air intake this way?
