I recently purchased a Bee R Rev Limiter and it came with instructions.....but in japanese LOL so im a little confused on how to install exactly but from what i can tell in the pictures im going to be plugging in the wires to the ECU and using the existing wire and Bee R wire to make a Y type connection?

Ill post pics of the item when i get home from work, any insight to this situation would be gladly appreciated.

let me see if i could help you on this one.

i haven't done mine, but im researching all i need to do so.

first find the number you are going to do.sec fallow this 2 links. third get familiar with the colors.

this is how is done... even though is in jap.http://www.bee-r.com/main/rev/sharyo.htm

look for some crayons and start pointing the color match with this jap color signs http://www.enchantedlearning.com/colors/japanese/

good luck

ignition cut on turbocharged cars.....just dont do it. The unburnt fuel gets burnt up inside your turbo, then the explosion cant make its way through the turbine quick enough, so it explodes back towards your exhaust valves and turns metal into soup.

Bee R Rev Limiters, IMO, are a worthless thing anyway. If you can't flutter the throttle to stop from boucing the engine off the rev limiter, you fail.

They're so that you can build boost off the line...

there are many cars out there that use them specially turbo charge cars, now depending on how you drive this could do things to your engine... the Bee R is gonna be off on my car untill i need it, im not going to be Reving all the way up in any other chance i can or throwing flames and all that.

im installing mine just to try it. if i like it, it will stays if not then ill sell it. dont just look at youtube videos with people throwing flames like they are in Fast and the furious... top tunned cars use this same system

ignition cut is the normal rev limit for most stand alones like aem megasquirt and probably sds and etc.. there no problem witht hat..

i have the bee*R on my ca for adjustable rev limit i set it to 7500 for drifting. and its nice to have to prevent overrev in the ebrak situation, set it to 6k hold the clutch ebrake and stay oin the gas with boost.. its also nice for launchs leaving the line with 5psi is fun... now it probably would create wear on exhaust and possibly turbo from extended use in the 2step function, but i wouldnt worry about it all systems like this do.

its a great device and does what it says itll do.

aem, megasquirt, SDS etc have the option of using a spark cut to limit revs, but that doesnt mean spark cut wont rip your turbo motor to shreds

its not really an option when it shiped with it setup that way, so i guess it should be worded ... aem megasquirt sds have a option for fuel cut rev limiting .. :P

i dont really think its a big deal.. to each there own.

well you obviously have no experience ripping turbo motors to shreds with spark cut then Its cool when the head of a valve, and valve stem make their way into a brand new 3076 v-band turbo and rip to shreds a CNC ported cylinder head. Show me an OEM turbo piston engine utilizing spark cut from the factory.

i havent had the luck lol... this is my first spark cut on any car.. but all my drift buddies have them on there aems and s*** so i dont see the issue.. there cars do just fine. i dont really bounce off the rev limiter even drifting... but well see how it goes.. i say install it and enjoy leaving the line with boost and an adjustable rev limit.
