update:bedliner on the side steps?

My side steps are very faded. I thought about using a spray on truck bed liner to bring them back to a deep black, has anyone already tried this or knows of something better I can use? I was thinking I could use it on the rear bumper step as well.

As you can see, very faded and ugly;


Or, should I just leave them alone and not be so picky?

tried it out and it went well. the side bars look noticably neater.


To me, it was worth the $10 can.
